About the position

The HR Generalist role is focused on managing various human resources functions within the organization, particularly in recruitment, employee relations, and compliance with HR laws and regulations. This position plays a crucial role in supporting both employees and management, ensuring effective communication and alignment of HR initiatives, and facilitating a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and extending offers.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Handle employee relations issues and provide guidance to managers and employees on HR related matters.
• Facilitate employee onboarding and orientation programs.
• Assist with the administration of employee benefits and compensation programs.
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance management and employee development.
• Act as a liaison between employees and management to address and resolve any issues or concerns.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and alignment of HR initiatives.
• Run bi-weekly payroll for our internal team, and contractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.
• 3-5 years of experience in an HR generalist role, preferably in a start-up environment.
• Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with recruitment and talent management.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
