About the position

AmeriStaff is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to fill an opening with a manufacturing company located in Eden, NC. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of relevant experience. This position is a direct hire opportunity and is full-time, offering a competitive salary range of $55,000 to $82,000 per year. The Human Resources Generalist will play a crucial role in managing the consistent administration of human resource policies and practices within the organization. This includes overseeing the hourly hiring process for the assigned facility and establishing effective working relationships with both leadership and employees to coordinate human resource actions, communicate important information, and address any employee issues that may arise. In this role, the Human Resources Generalist will conduct investigations to effectively resolve employee grievances and facilitate training programs, including new hire orientation. Maintaining data integrity in personnel files and the HRIS system is essential, as is coordinating programs and events such as employee recognition and appreciation initiatives. The Generalist will ensure that employee records are accurate, complete, and legally compliant, supporting the goals and objectives of the HR Department on corporate, regional, and local levels. Additionally, the role involves assisting with corporate reporting needs while maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and ethical standards. The Human Resources Generalist will also perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs, making this a dynamic and integral position within the company.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in Human Resources.
  • Detailed knowledge of operations and procedures to resolve straightforward issues.
  • Good understanding of how the other sectors of business interplay and affect the department.
  • Provides professional services using standard procedure and specific knowledge.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience in utilizing and maintaining a fully functional integrated HRIS system.
