INNIO is seeking a dedicated HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team in Houston, TX, specifically supporting our Jenbacher business. This role is pivotal in managing the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the company. The HR Generalist will be responsible for ordering and ensuring the completion of background investigations, as well as the accurate and timely completion of all required new hire paperwork. This includes entering information into systems and maintaining employee files. The HR Generalist will collaborate with hiring managers and cross-functional departments to ensure that new hires are set up appropriately for their first day, which encompasses IT, payroll, and workspace arrangements. In addition to onboarding, the HR Generalist will manage the recruitment and selection process for the assigned business group. This includes overseeing internal and third-party recruiting support, posting job openings, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, tracking applicants, and preparing and drafting job offers. The role also involves supporting payroll processing, including timecard reviews and communications, and assisting with audits, employment verifications, and surveys. The HR Generalist will play a key role in managing employee relations, supporting immigration and compliance matters, and responding to frequently asked questions from applicants and employees regarding standard policies, benefits, and hiring processes. Furthermore, the HR Generalist will assist with various HR special projects as needed.
