About the position

Gradiant is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join its North American team, with a focus on Boise, ID, or Houston, TX. This role is pivotal in managing a variety of HR functions, including talent acquisition, mobility management, and the daily operations of the HR department. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively. The HR Generalist will be responsible for developing and executing recruitment strategies aimed at attracting qualified candidates for various positions within the organization. This includes utilizing diverse sourcing channels such as job boards, social media, and networking to identify potential candidates. The role also involves conducting interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' suitability for specific roles, ensuring a positive candidate experience from the application stage through to onboarding. In addition to recruitment, the HR Generalist will maintain compliance with state and federal laws, particularly concerning wage and pay transparency. The position also requires coordination and oversight of the relocation process for employees moving to new locations, as well as assistance with visa applications, work permits, and other immigration processes for international transfers. The HR Generalist will provide guidance to employees and managers regarding mobility options and associated benefits. Furthermore, the role includes supporting HRIS data management, with a preference for candidates experienced in SAP and ADP, and handling day-to-day operational tasks, including payroll. Participation in US HR projects and initiatives, such as policy reviews, compensation analysis, and organizational development efforts, is also expected.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 2-5 years' experience in a multi-state HR environment.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, including sourcing and interviewing techniques.
  • Familiarity with visa processing and immigration procedures.
  • Knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment laws across multiple states.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (SAP & ADP experience is a plus).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
