M1 Support Services, LLC is seeking an HR Generalist to support the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department. This role involves administering pay, benefits, and leave, as well as enforcing company policies and practices across multiple stateside and overseas locations. The HR Generalist will perform a variety of HR functions including onboarding, managing new hires, overseeing benefits, handling leaves of absence (LOAs), and addressing employee and labor relations issues. The position requires guiding the implementation and execution of HR policies and procedures, developing HR procedures, and advising management on HR matters. In this role, the HR Generalist will review and assist management with counseling and disciplinary actions, process personnel action documents, and ensure compliance with applicable laws, labor agreements, and company policies. The HR Generalist will also respond to HR-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and management, process company-wide benefits, and participate in annual open enrollments. Additionally, the HR Generalist will provide guidance and training to other HR team members, prepare necessary HR documentation, and track compliance with training and assessments. Other duties may be assigned as needed. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years of HR experience, preferably in multi-site organizations and government contracting environments. Knowledge of state and federal employment and labor laws is essential, along with experience working with a unionized workforce and administering company-wide benefit programs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS is required, along with excellent communication skills and a detail-oriented approach. The candidate must be reliable, self-motivated, and capable of handling stressful situations while maintaining professionalism. Additionally, the ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance may be required, and extended hours may be necessary to meet deadlines.
