About the position

The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department by managing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. This position is designed for a proactive individual who can effectively communicate with employees at all levels and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews.
  • Support employee onboarding and orientation processes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Handle employee relations issues and provide guidance to management on HR-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Maintain employee records and HR databases accurately and confidentially.
  • Assist in performance management processes, including performance reviews and feedback.
  • Coordinate training and development programs for employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in HR or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with HRIS systems.
  • Certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SPHR).
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
