The HR Information Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in managing the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and supporting the health and wellness plans and benefit programs for all school staff. This position is responsible for serving as the system administrator for the UKG HRIS, ensuring the system's functionality and compliance with data retention policies. The analyst will create and generate reports using Cognos to support audits and internal data needs, often combining data from multiple systems. Additionally, the role involves troubleshooting technical issues with the software vendor and assisting with the development of the HR technology roadmap. The HRIS Analyst will work closely with the HR team to streamline processes and enhance efficiencies through technology upgrades and system enhancements. Collaboration with HR partners is essential to ensure that the HRIS system meets the needs of the organization. The analyst will also monitor HRIS workflows for accuracy and efficient processing of requests, administer the performance review cycle, and resolve data errors related to vendor and import file feeds. In terms of benefits administration, the analyst will support the management of various employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans for approximately 4,000 customers. This includes ensuring compliance with government regulations, completing annual audits, and managing PTO tools and resources. The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
