About the position

The HR Intern position at Gentherm is part of a Summer Internship Program designed to provide students with professional development opportunities while allowing them to experience the company's culture and career possibilities. The internship runs from May 19, 2025, to August 8, 2025, and includes a cohort of 15 students who will engage in learning sessions with executive leaders and participate in community and company events. Interns will work on projects related to department goals and their area of study, integrating classroom knowledge with practical application in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of a global engagement survey by working with the global HR team and third-party vendor.
• Assist in designing and implementing a success profile library for ongoing career development.
• Develop materials for a guide on standard processes for leaders, including promotions and performance management.
• Collaborate with the HR team to identify processes and draft documentation for promotional campaigns.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in school and have completed freshman year by the start of the internship program.
• Familiarity with Microsoft products, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to be on-site a minimum of 3 days a week at the facilities in Novi, Michigan.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Labor Relations, or a similar field.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Previous work experience in an office setting preferred.
