About the position

Ewal LLC is seeking an experienced HR Manager to support the HR Director in managing department operations within a high-volume food service organization. The role involves overseeing compliance, training, and employee records, as well as participating in recruitment and onboarding processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, particularly within the NYC food industry, and be fluent in both English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and handle employee inquiries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field
  • 3+ years of HR management experience in the NYC food industry
  • Proficiency in HRIS/payroll systems (e.g., Paylocity)
  • Fluency in English/Spanish, strongly preferred

Nice-to-haves

  • 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office (Preferred)
  • Ability to commute to New York, NY 10132 (Preferred)
