About the position

As an HR Manager at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving the human resources function for the Mobile, AL location. You will oversee and manage all aspects of HR operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. Your role will be instrumental in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business objectives and foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with business objectives.
  • Oversee talent acquisition processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Facilitate employee development and engagement initiatives.
  • Work with the ISC leadership team in facilitation of workforce planning and talent management needs.
  • Provide guidance and facilitate to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
  • Focus on understanding key HR metrics for the Mobile, AL site identifying trends, and providing insights and recommendations to the regional leadership team and the global HR team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in HR management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and people-oriented skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience with HRIS systems.
