About the position

As an HR Manager at Thirty One Labs, you will be instrumental in supporting the company's human resources functions within the dynamic cannabis industry. This role involves managing various HR activities to ensure the effective functioning of the organization, providing an excellent opportunity for career growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to attract top talent to the organization.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Review and help manage time cards and work with the direct managers.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints and grievances, and recommend appropriate actions to resolve issues.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Update employee handbooks and other HR-related documentation as needed.
  • Identify training needs within the organization and develop training programs to address them.
  • Coordinate employee development initiatives, including performance reviews and career development plans.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits-related questions and issues.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR processes and documentation to identify and mitigate risks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in HR roles, with demonstrated progression in responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Google Workspaces.
