About the position

Stepping Stones Behavioral Solutions, LLC (SSBS) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to enhance HR functions across the organization. This role is critical in managing recruitment, performance management, and employee relations while fostering a positive workplace culture. The HR Manager will work closely with a full-time HR Assistant and consult with a Fractional HR Director, ensuring effective HR strategies that align with the company's mission and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's mission, vision, and overall business objectives.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Oversee performance management processes to promote employee development, engagement, and retention.
  • Administer and enhance employee orientation programs for new hires.
  • Maintain and optimize the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) for accurate employee data management.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and create effective HR sourcing strategies.
  • Prepare and manage budgets related to HR initiatives and programs.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, fostering a culture of respect, equity, and inclusion.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
  • Partner with the Fractional HR Director for strategic HR consultation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar role in human resources management.
  • Proficiency in HR software such as BambooHR, Paychex, or similar systems.
  • Strong knowledge of performance management techniques and best practices.
  • Excellent budgeting skills to manage HR departmental expenses effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience in recruiting and talent acquisition strategies.
  • Ability to deliver engaging and effective employee orientation sessions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with HR sourcing methodologies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the HR Assistant to delegate and streamline daily HR tasks effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Microsoft Office proficiency (5 years preferred)
  • Professional In Human Resources certification (preferred)
