About the position

TTM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Human Resources professional to oversee a range of HR activities that are crucial to the success of our organization. This role encompasses the administration of various HR functions including employment, employee relations, corrective action, compensation, and policy interpretation. The successful candidate will ensure that HR policies and procedures are not only maintained but also effectively communicated across the organization. This position requires a proactive approach to employee relations, where the HR professional will coach and mentor both managers and employees on various HR initiatives, fostering a positive workplace culture. In this role, you will present and represent Corporate HR policies, processes, and philosophies to employees at the responsible sites. You will consult on organizational issues, particularly in unusual situations where precedents for resolutions are not readily available. Key responsibilities include facilitating important meetings, delivering communications, and administering Corporate HR programs. At the site level, you will lead HR programs such as performance management, employee reviews, learning and development initiatives, talent assessments, and benefits administration. Compliance with legal and regulatory requirements is paramount, and you will serve as a resource to corporate HR on geographic-specific information related to these regulations. Additionally, you will support the new hire onboarding process, manage employee leaves of absence, and ensure compliance with local and federal leave laws. You will also facilitate the development and rollout of various geographically specific social and philanthropic initiatives. Conducting fact-finding investigations related to internal and external inquiries, complaints, and concerns will be part of your responsibilities. You will manage all aspects of the recruitment process, including notifying about position openings, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and checking references. Conducting exit interviews with separating employees and training managers on sexual harassment, discrimination, and other HR-related topics will also be essential tasks. You will analyze turnover reports and present findings to division management, actively working to manage and decrease site turnover while answering questions regarding company benefits or referring them to the Benefits Administrator. This role requires exercising discretion and independent judgment in all matters described above.

Responsibilities

  • Administer Human Resources activities including employment, employee relations, corrective action, compensation, and policy interpretation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Human Resources required.
  • Knowledge of company HR policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a thorough understanding of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong employee relations skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Awareness of ITAR Regulations and ISO 9001 standards preferred.
  • Prior experience with high performance work systems is a plus.
  • Must pass a background and drug test.
  • Due to ITAR requirements, must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
