About the position

Eldredge, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role is crucial in supporting business needs and ensuring the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives. The HR Manager will act as a point of contact for employees, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices while collaborating with other department managers to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for hiring, onboarding, annual review, and termination processes with personnel and department managers.
  • Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback for ongoing improvement.
  • Develop recruitment strategies aligned with company growth goals and support managers in creating career progression plans.
  • Ensure strategic goals are met and policies are implemented in alignment with company initiatives.
  • Design and lead an onboarding program to integrate new hires into company culture, policies, and roles.
  • Partner with Operations and Health & Safety to address skills gaps and develop targeted training programs.
  • Serve as a resource for employee benefits-related inquiries.
  • Assist CFO with benefits programs as needed.
  • Responsible for processing payroll to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
  • Administer the compensation program and assist with job analysis, evaluation, and performance management.
  • Design and implement an annual review process, guiding managers in delivering constructive feedback.
  • Support talent management initiatives to ensure progression and succession opportunities across the organization.
  • Develop job descriptions, review tools, and skill assessments to evaluate performance.
  • Facilitate the update of the employee handbook, policies, and procedures in collaboration with the Executive Team.
  • Train and counsel managers on interpreting and applying policies effectively.
  • Assist Managers in mediating internal conflicts and act as a trusted advisor on performance and career development.
  • Reinforce policy and compliance standards to maintain a fair, inclusive workplace.
  • Facilitate communication and maintain awareness of organizational needs through employee surveys.
  • Foster a growth-oriented culture through regular check-ins and feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal guidelines and policies.

Requirements

  • Proven (5+ years) experience as an HR Manager or similar role in human resources.
  • Strong knowledge of employment labor law and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and open to learning new software and tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage conflict effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience in talent management and employee development initiatives.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves
