About the position

The HR Onboarding Representative at CDI Engineering Services is responsible for providing onboarding support and maintaining employee data systems throughout the employee life cycle. This role is a contract-to-hire position lasting 4 to 6 months, focusing on ensuring a smooth onboarding process and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onboarding and hiring support including electronic onboarding, drug and background screening, and I9 processing.
  • Update employee maintenance requests (pay rate, personal information, title, etc.) in Paycom/Vision system.
  • Support internal customers, suppliers, and employees across various geographic locations and time zones.
  • Consistently follow established procedures, processes, and requirements.
  • Deliver quality client/employee service and identify and recommend continuous improvement actions.
  • Ensure employee records are maintained according to company policy and legal requirements.
  • Assist in projects or other initiatives such as Accounts Payable, as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience with administration in a Human Resources function.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using computer applications and systems, specifically Excel.
  • Attention to detail and deadlines is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Some familiarity with Accounts Payable.

Nice-to-haves

  • Two-year degree or equivalent years of combined education and/or professional experience preferred.
