About the position

The HR Onboarding Specialist position is a hybrid role based in Plainsboro, NJ, focused on managing the onboarding process for new hires within a large pharmaceutical corporation. The specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with onboarding procedures, processing new hire paperwork, and facilitating background checks. This role requires a strong understanding of HR practices and the ability to work both onsite and remotely.

Responsibilities

• Review and confirm accuracy of offer details in advance of offer preparation.
• Develop internal and external candidate offer letters in accordance with policy.
• Update the candidate status after offer delivery.
• Initiate background checks and onboarding paperwork.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of corporate HR experience, specifically in onboarding.
• Strong experience in processing new hire paperwork and conducting background checks.
• Experience in reviewing and confirming offer letters and ensuring compliance with I-9s.
