Responsibilities

  • Perform Human Resources related duties and carry out responsibilities in functional areas including regulatory compliance, onboarding, employment verification, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Assist Recruiting Development Coordinator with internal job application tracking and references.
  • Complete and track all aspects of onboarding from job offer to 30-day compliance.
  • Ensure employment-related recordkeeping and file maintenance is compliant with applicable legal requirements.
  • Assist the Employee Relations Manager with other technical and professional duties as requested pertaining to employee support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field and at least one year of related experience.
  • An Associate Degree with at least two years of Human Resources experience or a high school diploma or GED with five or more years of Human Resources experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Basic knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines concerning human resource administration.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply human resources guidelines and policies, as well as rules, regulations, contracts, and other controlling procedures.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with associates, supervisors, department heads, employees, and members of the general public.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with others in sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Working knowledge of computer software applications including Microsoft Office and other business and human resources related applications.
