About the position

The HR Onboarding Specialist at Murdock Auto Team is responsible for managing the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring that all necessary steps are completed efficiently and effectively. This role involves coordinating with managers, handling pre-employment paperwork, and ensuring compliance with training requirements. The specialist will also be tasked with various HR-related projects as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Onboard new hires by following up until all necessary steps are complete.
  • Manage pre-employment paperwork and conduct background checks for all new employees.
  • Coordinate start dates with managers once the onboarding process is complete.
  • Order nametags and business cards for new hire employees.
  • Assign additional compliance policies or training through ADP and track to ensure completion.
  • Perform any other HR tasks or projects assigned.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Human Resource or dealership experience preferred.
  • ADP or other HRIS experience is a plus.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • High level of computer skills, time management, and organizational skills.
