About the position

The HR Onboarding Specialist at Boucher Brothers Management is responsible for facilitating the onboarding process for new employees. This role involves preparing welcome communications, entering new hires into the HR payroll system, conducting background checks, and ensuring a smooth transition for new hires. The specialist will serve as a point of contact for new hires, maintain relationships with various internal departments, and manage front office activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with facilitation of new hire orientation by preparing Welcome Emails and entering new hires into the HR payroll system.
• Conduct e-verify and background checks for new hires.
• Ensure a consistent and exceptional onboarding experience for new hires.
• Interact directly with new hires throughout the onboarding process to address questions or needs.
• Maintain strong working relationships with internal departments to resolve challenges faced by new hires.
• Prompt internal departments to complete necessary actions for new hires.
• Schedule meetings, calls, events, and travel for the Director of Recruiting.
• Complete regular status updates and summaries regarding onboarding progress.
• Manage overall front office activities, including the reception area and arrangements for office meetings.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of onboarding experience preferred.
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
