About the position

The HR Operations Analyst - HCM at Marsh McLennan is responsible for developing high-quality business solutions within the Workday system to enhance HR processes and user experience. This role focuses on optimizing operating models, ensuring system updates, and supporting the implementation of new features and enhancements. The analyst will work closely with HR and technical teams to drive solutions, manage projects, and maintain documentation, ultimately aiming to improve client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with HR and CIS-HR teams to support the Workday system for Human Resources.
  • Ensure the Workday system is up-to-date and participate in the design, implementation, and support of new features.
  • Coordinate technical projects and custom development on Workday Extend with the development team.
  • Design, implement, and support features of the Workday platform for Human Resources.
  • Address issues and design decisions of moderate to high complexity with HR as the client.
  • Deliver clear communication and documentation of complex concepts related to applications and workflows.
  • Drive Workday solutions with architecture and design, leading the technical work performed by developers.
  • Keep up to date with Workday platform upgrades and coordinate testing processes with HR teams.
  • Create detailed functional design documents for workflows, conversions, interfaces, and reports.
  • Coordinate with IT development teams to manage the development process and resolve issues.
  • Prepare and execute testing plans to ensure high-quality results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • Prior experience working on the Workday system for Human Resources (HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Recruiting, and Learning).
  • Experience in business analysis or a related field.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience documenting process designs to meet organizational goals and improve efficiency.
  • Knowledge and experience in understanding enterprise requirements, including security, data, and business requirements.
  • Advanced knowledge in strategic solution delivery models.
