About the position

As a HR Operations Compliance Analyst, you will serve as the compliance point of contact within the HR Operations team. This role is crucial in supporting key compliance-related processes, managing audit activities, and ensuring accurate compliance reporting. You will work closely with HR, legal, and payroll colleagues to ensure that all compliance requirements are met effectively and efficiently. In the HR Operations aspect of your role, you will manage the Form I-9 and E-Verify processes, ensuring that they are completed accurately and in a timely manner. You will also gather requested employment documentation for legal inquiries and support the digitalization of employee files, ensuring that all content is accurate and complete. This will require a keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data integrity. Regarding policies and legislation, you will take necessary actions for regulatory compliance updates, which may include changes to policies or processes, communication of these changes, and tracking employee acknowledgments. You will also manage labor law poster compliance requirements, ensuring that all necessary posters are displayed across company locations. Staying up to date with the company handbook and policies will be essential, as you will be responsible for posting new and updated policies and procedures. In terms of audits, you will manage both internal and external audit processes. This includes collaborating with HCM process owners to review the maintenance of required compliance documentation and internal control practices. You will review controls for certification and respond to audit requests, working to mitigate non-compliance trends and address any audit gaps through remediation. Additionally, you will audit employee and job data to ensure data integrity and close any data gaps. For reporting, you will track compliance activities, such as acknowledgments, and report on their completion. You will also prepare and submit required internal and external compliance reports, ensuring that all compliance activities are documented and communicated effectively.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • 2 years of HR experience with a focus on administrative and compliance activities
  • Knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements, including I-9 and E-Verify compliance
  • Experience in audits and controls a plus
  • Proficiency in MS office including intermediate Excel skills for reporting
  • Workday experience a strong plus
  • Attention to detail driving data integrity and accurate reporting
  • Collaborative working style with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to sit or stand at a desk, type and visually use a computer for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to communicate on a telephone and in group meetings on a computer
