About the position

The HR Operations Coordinator at Elevance Health plays a crucial role in the HR operations team, focusing on processing transactional work efficiently and accurately. This position is hybrid, allowing for a combination of remote work and office presence, and is ideally suited for candidates residing within 50 miles of one of the Elevance Health PulsePoint locations. The coordinator will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth functioning of HR operations, including managing adjustments and changes in the HRIS system, performing balancing activities, and maintaining records in the case management system. In this role, the HR Operations Coordinator will support system changes and run various reports and queries to analyze data effectively. They will also be tasked with researching and resolving specific transactional inquiries and customer issues, ensuring that all department-specific transactional work is processed accurately. As the point of contact for compliance inquiries, the coordinator will escalate issues to the appropriate departments when necessary. Attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to standard operating procedures are essential for success in this position, as the coordinator will be expected to maintain high standards of timeliness and quality in their work.

Responsibilities

  • Processes adjustments and changes in HRIS system
  • Performs balancing activities
  • Maintains records in case management system and assigns or researches cases as required
  • Supports system changes
  • Runs and analyzes reports and queries
  • Researches and resolves specific transactional inquiries and customer issues
  • Processes basic department specific transactional work
  • Acts as point of contact for compliance inquiries and escalates to the appropriate people or departments
  • Follows standard operating procedures and processing guidelines while maintaining attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness.

Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma
  • Minimum of 1 year of transacting experience in payroll, tax, benefits, or leaves of absence; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
