About the position

The HR Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting various HR and administrative functions within the Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO). This position serves as a point of contact for HR requests, assisting managers, employees, and justice-impacted participants. The coordinator collaborates with the Employee Experience team and multiple departments to ensure compliance and a customer-centric approach, while also staying informed about employment law changes that may impact HR processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to HR functions, including onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Maintain and update HR records with attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage HR email inboxes and respond to personnel records requests promptly.
  • Contribute to the development of new hire orientation content and support facilitation as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement CEO's onboarding process.
  • Input information into the HRIS (ADP) and support system administration.
  • Facilitate communication between HR and other departments for seamless coordination.
  • Identify areas for process improvement within HR functions.
  • Conduct research and support idea generation for new HR processes and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Employee Experience and Legal teams to ensure HR practices align with legal standards.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures for compliance.
  • Conduct periodic audits of HR records to ensure compliance and generate reports on HR metrics.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with HR practices, employment laws, and regulations preferred.
  • Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Zoom, and Gmail Suite.
  • Ability to maintain meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to track and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong administrative skills with experience in supporting HR functions.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with justice-impacted individuals.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to facilitate coordination between HR and other departments.
  • Customer service mindset to support clients effectively.
  • Understanding of confidentiality and good judgment in handling sensitive information.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with HRIS systems, particularly ADP.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and reporting in HR contexts.
