About the position

The HR Operations Manager at Athena Consulting LLC is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and ensuring compliance with labor laws. This role involves collaborating with department managers, providing leadership to HR team members, and managing various HR functions including talent acquisition, payroll, and benefits administration. The position requires fluency in Korean and a strong understanding of HR processes and employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of HRIS, ensuring its seamless functionality and compliance.
• Collaborate with department managers to support HR-related responsibilities.
• Provide leadership and consultative support to HR team members.
• Lead the processes of acquiring, securely storing, and analyzing crucial HR data.
• Ensure compliance with United States labor laws and individual state laws.
• Manage HR team members including HR Talent Acquisitions, HR Talent Management, HR Operations, and HR Payroll.
• Serve as a liaison for all HR operations, providing management perspectives in various HR functions.
• Assist local and regional management in succession planning and key performance indicators.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and Korean is required.
• 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources Operations.
• Experience with employment laws (federal, state, and local).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
• Experience with ADP systems and HRIS database designs.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• General knowledge of Human Resources processes and technological solutions.
