About the position

The HR Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and ensure its compliance and functionality. This role involves collaborating with department managers, providing leadership and support to HR team members, and managing crucial HR data. The position requires a comprehensive understanding of labor laws and the ability to lead a team effectively while serving as a liaison between HR headquarters and regional management.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of HRIS, ensuring its seamless functionality and compliance.
  • Collaborate with department managers to support HR-related responsibilities.
  • Provide leadership and consultative support to HR team members.
  • Lead the processes of acquiring, securely storing, and analyzing crucial HR data.
  • Ensure compliance with United States labor laws and individual state laws.
  • Manage HR team members including HR Talent Acquisitions, HR Talent Management, HR Operations, and HR Payroll.
  • Serve as a liaison for all HR operations, providing management perspectives in various HR functions.
  • Support local and regional management in areas like succession planning and performance indicators.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English and Korean is required.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources Operations.
  • Experience with employment laws (federal, state, and local).
  • Experience with ADP systems and HRIS database designs.
  • General knowledge of Human Resources processes and management.
  • Proficient in MS Suite, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Experience in performance management and talent management.
