About the position

The HR Operations Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the operational delivery of HR services within a global alternative investment firm. This position involves managing a team responsible for various employee life-cycle experiences, including onboarding, performance management, and offboarding, while ensuring alignment with global processes and service delivery expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct the work of a team responsible for the operational delivery across a broad range of critical employee life-cycle experiences such as employee inquiries, onboarding, performance management, employee movements, and offboarding.
  • Work with the Global Service Centre Manager to ensure BAU processes in the APAC region align with other regions.
  • Oversee the effective transition of a number of global processes to the APAC region.
  • Act as the primary escalation point to help solve both day-to-day and more complex operational problems.
  • Serve as the primary point person for partnering on projects, initiatives, and process design with departments across the firm.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to understand service delivery expectations and ensure services meet or exceed expectations.
  • Accountable for the integrity of all employee data in Workday and within employee files.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 8-10 years of experience in HR operations
  • At least 5 years of experience leading a team
  • Competency with HRIS applications, preferably Workday
  • Strong knowledge/experience in HR strategies, operations, policies, procedures, and compliance.
