About the position

The HR Operations Manager at Scale AI, Inc. is responsible for enhancing employee lifecycle processes to improve the overall employee experience. This role involves collaborating across departments to implement process and system improvements, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining high-quality data. The HR Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering an employee-centric culture as the company continues to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Evolve HR processes and policies to meet organizational needs and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Lead HR compliance initiatives, including audits, training programs, and policy reviews.
  • Establish and oversee contingent workforce processes in collaboration with the Operations team.
  • Support international expansion and workforce location strategies.
  • Manage daily operational HR needs and ad hoc projects.
  • Provide HR leadership regarding systems, compliance, and people programs.
  • Foster strong relationships with Finance, IT, Legal, and Compliance teams to enhance efficiencies.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of HR experience with a focus on building processes and policies.
  • Strong collaboration skills to advise employees at all levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented with stellar organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of US employment laws and regulatory requirements; international knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
  • Ability to identify gaps and drive operational improvements.
  • Excellent judgment and discretion in maintaining confidentiality.
  • Flexible mindset to navigate ambiguity and work independently.
