About the position

As an HR Operations Manager at Corsair, you will play a pivotal role in driving an exceptional experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding. This position requires an in-depth knowledge of HR processes and procedures, ensuring that downstream systems and functions receive information in a timely manner. You will manage and administer the US Benefits program, overseeing day-to-day activities associated with our US and Canada benefits programs. This includes providing support for resolving escalated benefits claims issues, managing the open enrollment process, and ensuring compliance with benefits-related requirements. Additionally, you will handle leave of absence administration and other related activities as they arise. Your responsibilities will also encompass managing HRIS day-to-day operations, which includes report generation, employee data audits, and implementation cycles. You will ensure the proper and timely flow of employee data to external departments such as Finance, IT, and Internal Audit. Compliance with local laws and maintaining proper records is crucial, and you will periodically perform audits of personnel data, recommending corrective actions as necessary. In this role, you will provide first-level support and ongoing HR guidance to line management for all HR programs, including merit, bonus, goals, and performance. You will help line management understand and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Collaborating closely with line management, you will align HR strategies with overall business objectives, developing initiatives that support the company's goals. You will also provide support and input regarding employee relations issues, from coaching to corrective action, while proactively maintaining a positive work environment through fair and consistent resolution processes. Conducting thorough and objective investigations when necessary will be part of your responsibilities, as will providing guidance to managers on effectively managing and developing their teams. Additionally, you will liaise with outside immigration counsel and manage all domestic employee immigration case applications, support ongoing internal and external audit requirements including SOX compliance, and assist with miscellaneous projects and requests as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Drive an exceptional experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Manage and administer the US Benefits program, including support for resolving escalated benefits claims issues and managing the open enrollment process.
  • Ensure proper and timely data flow of employee data to external departments (i.e. Finance, IT, Internal Audit).
  • Ensure the HR department is compliant with local laws and maintain proper records applicable with local legal requirements.
  • Perform audits of personnel data and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
  • Provide first-level support and ongoing HR guidance to line management for all HR programs (i.e. merit, bonus, goals, & performance).
  • Help line management understand and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with line management to ensure that HR strategies align with overall business objectives.
  • Provide support and input to line management regarding employee relation issues from coaching to corrective action.
  • Conduct thorough and objective investigations when necessary.
  • Provide guidance to managers on how to effectively manage and develop their teams.
  • Support ongoing internal & external audit requirements including SOX compliance.
  • Assist with miscellaneous projects and requests on an as-needed basis.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in HR Operations or HR Business Partnering.
  • Ability to quickly evaluate and prioritize in a high volume environment and juggle multiple priorities/projects.
  • Self-starter with initiative to make process improvements and solve problems.
  • Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and other HR software (preferred Oracle HCM, Bamboo HR).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation skills to manage employee relations issues.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment laws.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Certifications: SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
