About the position

The HR Operations Manager is key to supporting all people processes, data, and compliance. The HR Operations Manager will play an essential role in providing an outstanding employee experience from onboarding and throughout the employee lifecycle while maximizing operational efficiencies. This role will support the HR team by participating in the design and continuous improvement of the workflows supporting Talent Management, Total Rewards, Compliance, HR Data Analytics, and Training & Development, and in doing so will also be an active liaison with cross-functional teams such as IT, Finance, and Legal. This role will report to the Senior Director of HR Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Drive an exceptional experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Manage daily operations of US Benefits program including vendor relationships, open enrollment process, handling claims escalations, and ensuring compliance with ERISA/benefits legislation.
  • Manage HRIS day-to-day operations, including report generation, management dashboards, and conducting employee data audits.
  • Ensure compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) by implementing and maintaining internal controls related to HR processes.
  • Liaison with outside immigration counsel and support all domestic employee immigration case application processes.
  • Ensure the HR department is compliant with local laws and maintaining proper records applicable with local legal requirements.
  • Provide first-level support/ongoing HR guidance to employees and managers for all HR programs.
  • Assist with miscellaneous projects and requests on an as-needed basis.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in HR Operations.
  • Proven work experience as an HR Operations Manager, HR Manager, or similar role.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Self-starter and someone who takes the initiative to make process improvements.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and federal/state labor laws.
  • 3+ years Hands-on experience with managing an HRIS (preferred Oracle HCM, WorkDay, SAP, Bamboo HR).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Certifications: SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
