The HR Operations Manager at Sevita plays a crucial role in supporting field operations by managing HR operational projects and implementations. The role involves coordinating mass pay changes, annual bonus payouts, and performance reviews, while also ensuring data integrity within HR systems. The HR Operations Manager will oversee project plans, manage audits, and facilitate communication across departments to enhance employee engagement and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison and partner with Operations Management on HR projects and implementations.
  • Coordinate with local operations management and finance to process mass pay changes, annual bonus payouts, and performance reviews.
  • Generate audits or system reviews to identify and correct data inaccuracies within HR systems.
  • Act as the key HR contact on acquisition diligence and integration.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of project plans and manage project scope.
  • Manage overall project communication and resolve issues or roadblocks to success.
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for assigned state agency or internal audits.
  • Provide reports or requested documentation to ensure compliance with audit requests.
  • Plan and coordinate activities, services, and programs across departments.
  • Utilize reports and metrics to develop recommendations for HR Director regarding systems or processes.
  • Identify potential areas of opportunity for employee engagement, compliance, and HR quality improvement.
  • Develop training and teaching materials based on project requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in human resources required.
  • 5 years related Human Resources, Audit, or Program/Project Management experience preferred.
  • At least one year in a management/supervisory role is preferred.
  • Ability to mentor and motivate direct reports.
  • Knowledge of California wage and hour laws is a plus.
  • Experience with Employee Relations is a plus.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Resource management skills, particularly in a matrix environment.
