About the position

The HR Operations Manager at Tarro will oversee US HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, leave management, policy compliance, and employee recordkeeping. This role serves as the main point of contact for employees and acts as the process and system owner for the global HRIS, BambooHR. The position is hybrid, based in San Francisco, and reports to the Director of Global HR Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the global HRIS (BambooHR) expert for system-related questions and issues.
  • Prepare the HRIS for new integrations and process improvements.
  • Ensure data integrity in the US HRIS by creating process flows and audit trails.
  • Optimize US people systems and tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes.
  • Manage US onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
  • Oversee US employee benefits administration and handle open enrollments.
  • Maintain compliant and inclusive US leave and accommodation practices.
  • Create and maintain employee policies, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Manage US employee record keeping and improve documentation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of People Operations experience.
  • Experience customizing and/or implementing an HRIS, preferably BambooHR.
  • 1+ years of US Leaves/Accommodation management experience.
  • Experience in US benefits administration.
  • Deep understanding of employment law and compliance.
