About the position

The People Services Manager at Cosentino will oversee the HR Operations team, managing payroll, benefits, employee relations, and compliance across multiple countries in the Americas. This role involves leading a team of HR professionals, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and collaborating with various departments to drive HR initiatives and compliance. The manager will also be responsible for designing competitive employee benefits programs and managing departmental budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Drive day-to-day activities of the HR Operations team covering Payroll, Compensation, Administration, HRIS, Benefits, Leave Administration, Employee Relations, and Employee Onboarding.
  • Manage a team of HR professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support.
  • Ensure effective and efficient delivery of HR policies, programs, and services in compliance with local laws across the Americas.
  • Collaborate with the legal department on compliance items and milestones.
  • Oversee payroll procedures, ensuring compliance with laws and tax obligations, and maintain accurate payroll records.
  • Audit and review payroll registers and partner with Finance on reporting and money management.
  • Manage accuracy of employee data and audit information from the system of record.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on HR operational items for global projects.
  • Lead the design of employee benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
  • Partner with external vendors and brokers for benefits management in the USA, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil.
  • Develop and manage company headcount budget for the Americas and departmental budget.
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable leave and accommodation laws.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of HR experience with strong knowledge of HR policies, practices, and compliance.
  • 2-3 years of experience managing a team of HR operation professionals.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Master's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Strong results orientation and high sense of urgency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and diligence.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Ability to maintain and administer confidential and sensitive information.
