As an HR Operations Specialist at Carter's, you will play a crucial role in supporting the people operations for our retail stores across the US, Canada, and Mexico. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Retail HR Operations, your primary responsibilities will include driving the administration of our People systems, enhancing technology, and managing retail reporting and analytics. This position is based in our Buckhead office, where you will work four days in the office and have one flexible workday, typically on Fridays. In the Technology Administration and Enhancement segment of your role, you will develop and scale tools and resources for HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and Retail People Managers to enhance business operations. You will lead significant initiatives related to Workday, including project roadmapping, requirement gathering, and cross-functional coordination. Your focus will be on leveraging new technologies to simplify processes, increase efficiencies, and reduce workloads for the People Operations team. Additionally, you will maintain system documentation, create training materials, and manage Workday Learning courses, ensuring that users receive the necessary technical support and guidance. Your responsibilities will also encompass Reporting and Analytics, where you will regularly maintain, analyze, and disseminate key metrics related to people success, such as insights from exit surveys. You will execute compliance reporting, identify trends and risks, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive a narrative that clarifies the effectiveness of our people strategy and guides talent decisions. In the Program Management aspect of your role, you will build collaborative relationships across the business, ensuring stakeholder alignment and improved communication strategies. You will partner with internal stakeholders for program planning and delivery, assess the quality and effectiveness of HR program operations, and lead special projects as assigned. Your ability to analyze and evaluate program execution will be critical in recognizing problem areas and originating solutions, particularly in managing the WOTC administration and ensuring compliance with legal and Department of Labor requests.
