About the position

The HR Generalist position is a critical role within one of the largest medical facilities in the Bay Area, focusing on processing complex Human Resources transactions related to employee changes and new hire information. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong customer service skills and the ability to navigate HR systems effectively.

Responsibilities

• Process moderate to complex Human Resources transactions related to employee changes and new hire information.
• Review and analyze file documents to determine next steps in HR processes.
• Research employment histories using legacy HR/Payroll systems, microfiche, and paper files.
• Ensure a high accuracy rate in transaction processing as measured by internal quality assurance performance measures.
• Interact with customers on the telephone while maintaining a typing speed of at least 45 words per minute.
• Participate in training and quality assurance initiatives as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong customer orientation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to process transactions with a 95% accuracy rate.
• Demonstrated experience navigating Windows-based Human Resources information systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service focus.
• Ability to identify root causes and conduct analysis.
• Ability to work independently under limited supervision.
