About the position

The HR Payroll Specialist at DynaGrid Construction Group plays a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources team and ensuring the smooth operation of payroll and administrative functions. This position is primarily based in the office from Monday to Friday, with a one-hour lunch break, and reports directly to the HR/Payroll Manager. The specialist will assist in various HR tasks, including maintaining employee files, processing payroll records, and supporting new hire onboarding activities. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who enjoys working collaboratively within a team and is committed to promoting safety and quality in the workplace. Responsibilities

• Maintain existing employee files
• Maintain payroll records
• Process time records in hh2
• Maintain hh2 timekeeping records
• Maintain I-9 binders and I-9 retention forms
• Manage mailouts for birthdays and anniversaries
• Assist with benefit enrollment announcements
• Support new hire onboarding activities
• Assist with event planning - holiday and HR events
• Assist with various HR projects as needed

Requirements

• 3-5 years' experience in administrative roles
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Eye for detail is required
• Experience using Sage 300 CRE
• Proficient with Microsoft365 software
• Bilingual (Spanish) is helpful
