The HR/Payroll Specialist position is a critical role within a local non-profit organization that has been dedicated to providing affordable housing and assisted living services for over 30 years. This position is managed by Creative Financial Staffing (CFS) and is aimed at finding a candidate who is not only skilled in payroll processing but also has a strong background in HR functions, particularly with the Paylocity system. The HR/Payroll Specialist will report directly to the Assistant Controller and will work closely with the CFO, making this role integral to the finance and operations team of the organization. In this role, the HR/Payroll Specialist will be responsible for administering Paylocity functions, ensuring that payroll is processed accurately and efficiently. This includes serving as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries, assisting with employee onboarding, and managing benefits administration. The specialist will also provide training support to management on the Paylocity system, ensuring that all payroll documents are processed correctly and entered into the payroll system. Additionally, the HR/Payroll Specialist will act as the final reviewer in the payroll process, which requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Responsibilities

  • Administer Paylocity functions, ensuring accurate payroll processing.

Requirements

  • HR/Payroll Specialist experience with Paylocity is a must.
  • At least 6 months to 1 year of payroll and HR background.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the organization.
