About the position

The HR Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing and administering payroll programs at Hyundai Transys Georgia Powertrain, Inc. This role involves ensuring the accuracy of payroll processes, maintaining payroll records, and adhering to company policies and safety standards. The specialist will work under the direction of the HR Manager and is expected to contribute to a positive work environment while complying with all relevant laws and regulations regarding payroll.

Responsibilities

• Administers Payroll programs and reviews timesheets for completion and accuracy.
• Computes wages and verifies accuracy of contingent workforce invoice data.
• Processes and executes wage garnishments and enters new team member's data into the payroll systems.
• Maintains and updates payroll records, tracks leave and vacation time.
• Issues and records adjustments to pay related to previous errors or retroactive increases.
• Creates approvals for payroll related payments within the SAP system.
• Processes allowances, bonuses, and other approved compensation.
• Maintains current knowledge of laws and regulations regarding payroll.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience in Human Resources or related discipline required.
• 2-5 years of job-related experience in payroll or HR functions.
• Proficiency in MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Word, MS-Outlook, ADP, SAP, VAATZ, and Autoway.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with payroll software and systems.
• Knowledge of IATF16949 and ISO 45001 standards.
