About the position

The Product Owner/Lead position is a hybrid role based in Chicago, IL, focused on leading HR transformation initiatives for a major food and beverage client. This role involves managing the end-to-end product environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting the development of a centralized global operational model in HR technology. The position is a 6-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of HR technology initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, HR, Design, and Marketing.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and influence priorities effectively.
  • Support the establishment of a centralized global operational model for HR.
  • Oversee the end-to-end product environment including people, processes, and product roadmaps.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Product Management experience.
  • Experience working in HR or HR Technology.
  • Proven experience in supporting initiatives focused on an internal customer base.
  • Ability to stand up a product environment end-to-end.
  • Agile experience with cross-functional team collaboration.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including negotiation and influence.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with HR Technology platforms such as Workday, Cornerstone, or ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with Generative AI technologies like NowAssist.
