About the position

The Program Manager for HR Operations at Trident Seafoods is responsible for implementing and executing various HR programs and processes within the operations function. This role involves close collaboration with the HR Operations Manager to develop and improve programs that enhance operational efficiency across corporate and onsite locations. Key areas of focus include drug testing, temp agency policies, background checks, and data integrity, ensuring compliance with regulations while driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop HR program and execution plans, defining scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Create detailed project plans, ensuring timelines and milestones are met and adjusted as necessary for successful completion.
  • Partner with HR Operations and leadership to align priorities and ensure proposed programs meet organizational needs.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collect and analyze data to measure program effectiveness and identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Work cross-functionally within the HR department to communicate and implement process and program changes effectively.
  • Ensure HR programs comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Manage budget, track spending, and approve invoices for applicable programs.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in HR, program management, or a related field.
  • A bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Project and program management experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software.

Nice-to-haves

  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.
  • PMP or similar certification.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing industry.
  • Experience with Ceridian Dayforce.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
