About the position

The HR Project Manager (HCM Implementation) role involves leading the migration from PeopleSoft to Workday HCM in a large program for a Fortune 100 client. This position is focused on project management from an HR business perspective, requiring candidates to have experience in HR-related project management, particularly in SaaS/cloud-based environments. The role is remote but requires adherence to an EST schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Creates, maintains, facilitates, or oversees the completion of project management deliverables and artifacts (e.g., plans, schedules, budgets, resource staffing, status reports, project metrics)
  • Ensures the successful adoption of changes by collaborating or partnering with others to assist or lead the design and development of business change impact analysis, communication, training, stakeholder management plans and adoption measurement.
  • Develops and/or influences on appropriate project strategy and delivery.
  • Proactively takes action to assure delivery of various aspects of the project's process improvement or work efforts and mitigate risks.

Requirements

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Project
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for presenting information
  • Experience with Agile Project Delivery
  • Ability to manage end-to-end workstream delivery
  • Experience managing large, complex projects
  • Experience with Workday HCM or SaaS projects
  • Ability to work across functions such as consulting companies, stakeholders, and IT while building and maintaining relationships
  • Ability to escalate risks and issues arising from the workstream
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher with 6 years of work experience, or a high school diploma with a minimum of 9 years of related work experience leading projects and project delivery.

Nice-to-haves

  • PMP or CAPM certification
