About the position

The HR Projects Program Manager at Veolia North America is responsible for managing complex HR projects, ensuring quality outcomes while engaging and influencing key stakeholders. This role involves overseeing the HR program from initiation to completion, collaborating with various teams, and driving change management initiatives to foster successful adoption of new processes and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead a program that includes multiple work streams/teams, design information flow, and track progress against an integrated set of milestones and deliverables.
  • Establish regular points of communication and facilitate meetings and written program updates with key internal project team members, business stakeholders, and Executive leadership.
  • Initiate, plan, monitor and guide working teams through issues, roadblocks, and problems, acting as a change agent to drive teams to perform through constraints and achieve success.
  • Develop and implement a project roadmap and project management infrastructure utilizing Veolia standard tools that promotes standardized, high-quality delivery.
  • Identify risks/issues that impact the execution and success of projects and develop options and solutions for complex problems.
  • Oversee communication channels and change activities to create a network of ambassadors to generate excitement around the transformation.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to manage sponsor and stakeholders' expectations and deliver expected results.
  • Oversee supporting material such as training offerings & change management activities to ensure successful adoption of new processes, procedures and systems/tools.
  • Perform root cause analysis on project shortfalls and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Manage change and promote the continuous improvement of project management-related processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required in HR or related field.
  • Minimum of ten (10)+ years of demonstrated experience managing, planning and organizing large or complex Human Resources (HR) projects.

Nice-to-haves

  • Formal training in project management methodologies, including but not limited to a PMP or CAMP.
