About the position
The HR Recruiting Manager at Woodgrain is responsible for overseeing the recruitment process and managing the internal recruiting team. This role involves developing and implementing recruiting policies, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and providing guidance to managers on hiring needs. The position emphasizes a paperless HR function and the use of automated HR solutions to enhance efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Run a paperless HR function and seek automated HR solutions.
- Perform HR duties and responsibilities safely while leading by example.
- Recruit, select, and onboard new team members.
- Manage the internal recruiting team.
- Develop, design, and administer recruiting policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws.
- Plan, develop, and coordinate the implementation of recruiting and onboarding programs.
- Consult with and mentor managers on hiring needs and issues.
- Train managers on Woodgrain's ATS.
- Assist the HR Director.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; BA in Human Resources, Management, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of related experience in HR or recruiting.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- Strong written, verbal, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Experience in SAP and Success Factors is highly preferred.
