About the position

ECOMPEX, Inc., a premiere Government Contract (Gov-Con) service provider, is seeking an HR Recruiting Specialist to join our Headquarters team. This full-time position is designed for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to process improvements within the HR and recruiting functions. The HR Recruiting Specialist will play a crucial role in managing various HR responsibilities, including payroll, benefits administration, strategic planning, human capital management, and recruiting tasks such as writing job descriptions and screening candidates. In this role, the HR Recruiting Specialist will manage the entire recruitment process, which includes posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and performing reference checks. The specialist will also be responsible for managing employee benefits and training programs, utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems for recruitment and onboarding, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. Collaboration with leadership on workforce planning and organizational needs will be a key aspect of this position, ensuring that the company attracts and retains top talent. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree and have at least three years of experience in HR or recruiting, with a strong understanding of recruiting and HR software. As a U.S. Citizen, the candidate must also be able to pass a background check. Experience in the government contracting industry and knowledge of contract management and compliance regulations are highly desirable. Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with employees at all levels, and proactive management skills will be necessary to handle a variety of tasks effectively.

Requirements
