An HR Coordinator is a key member of the HR team, actively working with the recruiter team to take selected candidates from a stage of being offered a role, to completing background and drug screening, onboarding steps, and then communicating with hiring managers on coordinating start dates. With the wide growth of the Rush Enterprises team, the HR Coordinator will need to have strong multitasking, organization, and problem solving skills with a deep understanding of employee and new hire relationships, effective at scheduling and thorough in maintaining HR processes.

Responsibilities:
* Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries and requests.
* Maintain both hard and digital copies of employees' records.
* Assist with the recruitment process.
* Create and submit offer letters.
* Initiate and manage background checks.
* Coordinate start dates.
* Onboard candidates within your region.
* Support other assigned functions.
* Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practice.

* The intended pay range of this position will be $19-21/hr. and is a hybrid schedule, working M-F between the New Braunfels corporate office & 1-2 days a week remotely.
Basic Qualifications and Attributes:
* Previous experience in an administrative or similar position in Human Resources strongly preferred.
* Effective HR administration and people management skills.
* Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Works well under pressure and meets deadlines.
* Highly computer literate with the capability in email, MS office and related business and communication tools.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
* Meticulous attention to detail.
