About the position

The HR Skills Consultant at Truist Bank plays a crucial role in aligning workforce strategies with business objectives. This position focuses on driving skills-related initiatives and providing data-driven insights to enhance organizational effectiveness. The consultant will work closely with leaders across the organization to implement strategic workforce plans and improve decision-making through analytics and performance measurement.

Responsibilities

  • Consult on execution of workforce initiatives with data insights and process improvements.
  • Lead workforce data analysis, designing reports, dashboards, and tools to improve efficiency and provide insights.
  • Translate complex strategies into tactical action plans for execution of strategic workforce plans.
  • Measure progress against strategic workforce plans and other workforce KPIs, proposing targets and benchmarks.
  • Represent Human Resources on cross-functional project teams, influencing strategic direction with workforce impacts.
  • Engage and manage stakeholders at multiple levels to ensure support for key initiatives.
  • Coordinate self-service HR Analytics capabilities across HR Centers of Excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent education or related training.
  • 5+ years of experience in Workforce Planning/Analytics or related field.
  • Strong analytic aptitude with the ability to analyze data and formulate effective strategies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and modeling.
  • Experience creating PowerPoint presentations to effectively communicate data insights.
  • Project management and process improvement experience.
  • Proven ability to analyze data and problem-solve effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced Business Degree (MBA, MS, MA).
  • Experience in Enterprise Workforce Management.
  • Experience with Skills Strategy and Skills Assessments.
  • Degree in Finance, Engineering, Business, Math, Computer Science, MIS, Analytics, Data Science or related fields.
