About the position

The HR Specialist 2 position is responsible for supporting various human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws. This role plays a crucial part in enhancing employee engagement and ensuring a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
  • Support employee onboarding and orientation processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Manage employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Provide support in employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and performance management.
  • Conduct training sessions on HR policies and procedures as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP).
  • Familiarity with payroll processing and benefits administration.
