Responsibilities

  • Review and advise on civilian HR regulations, procedures, and instructions.
  • Prepare regulations/instructions and write policy.
  • Respond to inquiries from HQs and subordinate command offices.
  • Participate in on-site reviews and evaluations of subordinate command programs.

Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • One year of specialized experience in planning, coordinating, and implementing civilian human resource programs.
  • Experience providing interpretation and instructions on civilian human resource laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience providing advisory services related to staffing, recruitment, and performance management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with federal HR systems and processes.
  • Knowledge of Department of Defense HR policies and procedures.
