About the position

St. Luke's Health System is seeking an HR Specialist 1 to join the HR Service Center team in Boise, ID. This entry-level position involves supporting various HR programs, providing customer service, and assisting employees and leaders with HR-related inquiries. The role requires maintaining confidentiality, processing transactions accurately, and participating in special projects while ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support daily functions of various HR programs including FMLA, employee relations, compensation, benefits, HR compliance, and talent acquisition.
• Provide timely and quality customer service to employees and leadership.
• Research and respond to problems, questions, and issues from employees and leadership with recommendations and solutions.
• Process transactions in applicable systems accurately and timely.
• Maintain appropriate documentation both written and electronic.
• Provide basic data analysis and reports.
• Educate employees on HR policies, procedures, and available resources.
• Utilize analysis and critical thinking skills in interpreting and processing HR data.
• Assist with and participate in special projects.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
• Entry-level position requiring less than 1 year of experience.
• Strong analysis skills.
