KEY JOB FUNCTIONS: Responsible for partnering with the Employment Team to ensure a seamless and positive experience throughout the employment process. Supports and administers recruitment, onboarding and HRIS functions. Serves as a liaison between the property and HRSC to ensure accurate and timely submission of HR transactions. Responsible for all Human Resources data entry: new hires, termination/resignations, transfers, wages, performance reviews, address changes, name changes, etc. Trains department managers and supervisors regarding use and understanding of HR online forms. Compiles and analyzes data on various Human Resource issues; prepares reports and recommendations based on these analyses. Creates, runs and distributes monthly department reports and specially requested reports for various departments as requested. Maintains and tracks referral program and processes referrals for payment. Responsible for ensuring completion of gaming requirements for all Team Members and for renewals; as well as managing the payment process/tracking. Monitors and regulates HRIS functions within ATS/HCM including: Provide resolution for all co-existence issues within ATS/HCM. Lead all job code mapping requirement of new Job Code/Positions in for ATS/HC. QA all CET requisitions to ensure job mapping is completed, required data fields are provided and accurate, assign requisitions to Recruiter. Ensure New Hire Audit findings are resolved in an effective and efficient manner to prevent payroll issues for new hires. Responsible for filing active and inactive employee documents and files. Welcomes all candidates to the Employment Center and demonstrates an upbeat and positive, professional demeanor at-all-times. Provides accurate information and support to applicants. Communicates and collaborates with Employment Team on all topics relevant to active candidates. Provides effective and efficient support for all pre-employment activities listed below: Reviews all extended offers received via Oracle to coordinate processing of candidates. Schedules candidates for processing and new hire orientation. Ensures all onboarding documents are accurate and completed in a timely manner. Ensures all offer letters are created and submitted accurately to the respective approvers. Offer letters will be reviewed prior to submission to ensure accurate job title, wage, grade, and relative benefits associated with the position. Ensures accurate completion, verification and submission of I-9 documents no later than 3 days after Start Date. Ensures all relative licenses required for the job are identified, communicated to the candidate, collected, and recorded. Orders pre-employment drug tests and report on pre-employment drug testing results. Performs appropriate follow-up action on candidates who have failed or not completed pre-employment drug testing. Backgrounds - Issue, Review and Acquire all Background results/information for candidates Oversees the ordering and storing of applications, licensing, and new hire supplies and ensures the cleanliness, maintenance, and organization of the Employment Office. Maintains confidentiality of all applicant and Team Member information. Develops relationships with Recruiters to ensure excellent customer service. May conduct interviews for non-exempt positions and makes recommendations to hiring supervisors and managers accordingly. Ensures consistent, high-quality service standards are maintained in the Employment Office while providing information and excellent customer service. Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies in an ethical manner. Must be able to professionally handle sensitive information and maintain complete confidentiality. Monitors legal compliance with federal, state, and gaming laws. Supports HR team with additional duties and projects as needed. Act as a role model and present oneself as a credit to the Company and encourage others to do the same.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred.
  • Experience in Human Resources preferred.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with outside agencies, vendors, and all levels of employees.
  • Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced customer service environment with multiple tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills required.
  • Strong computer literacy required.
  • Ability to maintain a flexible working attitude in stressful situations.
  • Must present a well-groomed, professional appearance.
