About the position

The Human Resources Specialist at Labcorp plays a vital role within the People Services Team, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service and providing timely HR information to employees. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and offers a hybrid work structure, allowing flexibility between remote and in-office work.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a central point of contact for employees for HR related inquiries via a Case Management System and phone line.
• Provide superior customer service when responding to employee questions regarding payroll, company policies, benefits, and general HR inquiries.
• Handle I-9 documentation and process using the E-Verify system.
• Maintain employee personnel files.
• Perform employment verifications.
• Participate in and contribute to People Services projects as needed.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Customer Service and Human Resources experience required.
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with ADP, Workday, or other similar HRIS systems preferred.
• Superior customer service skills in a multi-faceted environment; in writing, via phone, and face to face.
• Flexibility and the ability to multitask is critical.
• Accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
• Excellent interpersonal, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to interact with many different individuals and prioritize numerous responsibilities.
• Strong computer skills essential, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with a Case Management System is a plus.
